Well Done Broughton!

Yes we did it together. We have passed BT's "Trigger Level" of 150 people
registering their interest in 'Broadband for Broughton'. Contrary to the
current published information regarding the 'Ready for Service'(RFS) Date
being 'TBA', we now have a date the 19th November 2003 latest.

I have received an e-mail from a company by the name of One.Tel which I
attach below for your information, and action should you wish:


Hello Michael,
I was told you were the campaign organiser for Broughton exchange area from
our existing customers base at One.Tel. We are currently running a campaign
"WE WANT BROADBAND" to make broadband more affordable to our customers.

Currently we have between 20 - 30 customers in the Broughton exchange area
who require broadband from One.Tel now that your exchange has a live date. A
majority of these customers are One.Tel customer with our Internet, Mobile
and landline services. We are currently offering One.Tel customers a
offer (see below) at a subsidised cost. What we want to do is offer this to
everyone in the Broughton exchange and surrounding areas at the discount
rate.

I would suggest before committing yourself to any particular Broadband
provider you go to the BT web site where you can find details of all
companies offering services. There is a feast of information from price to
services offered. It is well worth reading through these and gaining an
understanding or raising questions in your own mind of what you require from
Broadband. Do you want to play games, download films and music, just send
and receive large files, or a combination of these and other options If you
do not understand, ring up the companies and ask questions, but do not jump
in. Do your research and make sure you get what you want.
