The Northamptonshire Youth Service is a creative
educational organisation provided by the County Council and committed to responding to the
needs of young people (primarily targeted at 13 -19 year olds) and the issues they face
growing up in today's world.
The Youth Service is clearly for young people
but also provides a service for:
- Parents - by making sure that high quality
programmes are developed for their children
- The community - by making sure that the next
generation in Northamptonshire have the best opportunities to become active and effective
in their lives
- In order to address inequalities of opportunity
we target young people in the greatest need, i.e. those at risk in both urban and rural
areas, girls and young women, those with physical and learning disabilities and young
people from minority communities.
