The questionnaires had been filled in and collected.  Then came the huge task of collating the information from questionnaires. This immense task fell to  the Steering Group and a few volunteers.  Eventually the findings were put together.

However the job wasn’t completed at that point, we then had to produce charts and comments suitable for display.

Even at an early stage it could be seen that there were many issues being raised, so it was decided to invite suitable organisations to send a representative to answer questions.
A deadline had been set and the Steering Group
worked hard to have everything ready on time.

Saturday 10th May saw Broughton Village Hall full of displays and representatives waiting and hoping that residents of Broughton came to view the progress of their Parish Plan.

We needn’t have worried, a steady flow of visitors came through the door and the Village Hall was ‘buzzing’. In total an excellent number of people came to see the results. This was an opportunity to voice and discuss concerns, which many took advantage of.

It was felt to have been a very successful event with many thanking the Steering Group for organising the Open Day.

Our thanks go to all those who gave up their time to ensure that the day went well, including the ladies who prepared the refreshments.
