At Rainbows, girls take part in a programme called the Rainbow Jigsaw. This gives girls the chance to have fun, meet new friends, taking part in a variety of activities that they have chosen to do from the programme.  The Rainbow Jigsaw challenges Rainbows to think for themselves, and help each Rainbow to develop. Each Jigsaw is made up of four sections that come under the headings Look, Learn, Laugh and Love. When the Rainbows have completed the four sections they gain the Jigsaw badge. The Rainbows are aged 5-7 years and the meetings last for one hour each week.

Girls 10 - 15 years can have fun too... by joining the Guides  they can take part in indoor and outdoor activities  that challenge them to do their best! Guides choose and plan most of their own activities,  which can include theme evenings, trips and all sorts of fun!
The Guides also work towards challenges in order to gain
Interest Badges and Go For It Challenges'.
Go for it's,  have been specially written to give patrols lots of things to do together, they contain dozens of different activities, some are quick and simple whilst others will need planning.  To complete a go for it, the patrol need to work on it at least 4 times as part of a team. Go for it's, can be flexible too either be adopting an activity or by making up a theme. the most important thing with these challenges is to have fun.
